1933 Ford 3-window Coupe

This vehicle was scratch built and is a true show car. The car has never been driven on public streets. The paint on this vehicle is as slick on the bottom as it is on top; No expense has been spared. It has a tubular frame which was a modified “Alloway” frame for better stability. Both the front and rear are independent  suspensions which are fully chromed including the rotors and the discs. The rear suspension is a Heidt’s with the rotors and discs inboard. All the wiring is channeled through the tubular frame, thus no wires are showing and the power brake booster and resivoir are mounted on the inside of the outer frame. This car gets its performance from a fully de-burred LT-1 Chevrolet Corvette fuel injected engine and the gears are maintained by a 4L60E (electronic) transmission.

The paint was supplied by Dupont and this “flame red” beauty represented Dupont at the 2003 SEMA show in Arizonia. Gary Stroud formerly of S.& S. Cycles accomplished the pearliest flame work. The flames were prepared by painting latex paint on to the base color. Then the flames are drawn free hand on the dried latex mask which was applied each time a different color was used to ad to the multi-colored flame. The leather and suede interior is custom free hand in the trunk and the cockpit as well. The graphic design was the inspiration of Mr. Jeff Phipps of Phipps Custom designs in Ft. Lauderdale Fla.  The billet accessories are also the design of Mr. Phipps. The dash is manufactured by Dakota Digital Systems.

The rear tail lights have been recessed and cleared over so that they cannot be felt by a mere touch or seen until they are either turned on or the brakes applied. The front lights had custom headlight buckets designed as a duo feature taken from the Harley Davidson’s “V Rod” muscled motorcycle. The car is equipped with four wheel disc brakes and rolls on B. Coddington chromed aluminum specialty 20 inch and 17 inch wheels.

This car competed  for the coveted “Riddler” Award in Detroit Mich. In 2002 where it made its first showing. This car dubbed “Adrenalin” has taken its class in all shows in which it has competed and has taken the I.S.C.A’s “Best of Show” Award.
